10 Things you should know about Nominating at the WINAs

Nominating and entering the WINAwards are both free. So, if you’re ready, submit your nomination here.

We encourage and accept both self-nomination and also 3rd party nominations.
Prizes for the 2018 WIN Awards program will include a combination of an industry learning, global networking, business opportunities, WINTRADE membership, international speaking opportunities, media coverage will be included in the winners package. Each finalist will receive a complimentary ticket to the awards dinner, with discounted tickets for your guests.
Nominations are now open.
Nominations Close: 2nd March 2018
Judging: 12th- 23rd March – 2018
Finalists Informed: – 29th March 2018
Awards Dinner: 18th May 2018

We will not accept any nomination after 23.55 on the 2nd Mach.

Yes. It’s possible that any given business could win both the category award that they entered, as well as an overall award. Such as Excellence, Leadership or International

You can also be the recipient of multiple awards by winning at both the state and national level.

Our judging panel is made up of business experts, successful business owners, and our representatives from our sponsors.
Sponsors are not allowed to vote on the categories they are sponsoring.

They treat all entry information professionally and sign confidentiality agreements before judging commences.

Our Judges are looking for concise answers that are relevant, accurate and honest. They are wanting to get an understanding of the business principles, philosophies and practices. They also want a sense of how the business became successful, and your plans and vision for the future.

When answering – we will be marking on and looking to ascertain you can show the following:-

Industry excellence
Leadership
Change agent
Business cultural change for the better.
Impact on stakeholders
Inspiration, Aspiration
Industry innovations, inventions,
Continuous Learning
How you serve the community over and above what you do in your place of work.
How you would pay this forward (pass on your success to others)

The Judges score each answer individually and the entries are often referred back to during the awards process. You should therefore consider all questions carefully, and pack them full with information that highlights the great achievement of your business.

Whilst we urge you to answer all questions, please do not exceed the word quota for each question. Ont he flip side ensure your answer is enough to give the information required adequately.
